Work began on dismantling the crossed roof of Christ Church Cathedral, which became an important milestone in the stabilization phase of the restoration project of Christ Church Church worth $ 154 million.
Project director Keith Patterson said the top-down approach means the stone gable arches of the cathedral can be dismantled by dividing it into four sections that are supported independently.
