Attention chocolate enthusiasts: Krispy Kreme has unveiled its tantalizing Chocomania range in Aotearoa.

Olivia Sutherland, Chief Marketing Officer at Krispy Kreme ANZ, expressed excitement about the introduction of the Chocomania range, which features a delectable chocolate base, enhancing the indulgence of each bite.

Available exclusively at all Krispy Kreme stores across Auckland, the Chocomania range will grace the shelves only until May 27, offering a limited-time opportunity for doughnut aficionados to savor these chocolate delights.

The range comprises four decadent doughnuts, each described by Krispy Kreme as follows:

  1. Choc Indulgence: A glazed chocolate doughnut dipped in chocolate ganache, swirled with Choc Kreme, adorned with chocolate fudge pieces, and drizzled with milk chocolate ganache.
  2. Choc Caramel Crunch: A glazed chocolate doughnut dipped in chocolate ganache, sprinkled with Salted Caramel Inclusions, and drizzled with caramel truffle.
  3. Triple Choc Delight: A glazed chocolate doughnut dipped in white truffle, sprinkled with milk chocolate cereal clusters, and drizzled with milk chocolate ganache.
  4. Double Choc Iced: A glazed chocolate doughnut dipped in smooth chocolate icing.

Krispy Kreme made its grand entrance into the New Zealand market in 2018 with the opening of its inaugural store in Manukau. As a prominent US doughnut and coffee chain in Aotearoa, it competes with other renowned brands such as Dunkin’ Donuts and Southern Maid Donuts.

The Krispy Kreme legacy traces back to 1937 in North Carolina, USA, where the recipe for the iconic original glazed doughnut was born, setting the stage for decades of doughnut perfection and innovation.
